Sunday, hungry and at that fateful time of day when everything is closing…  We struck out to find food. Things could have easily gone sideways. After several attempts, while driving by we saw the Left Bank in Larkspur.

When we asked if they were still serving, we were told they are always serving! And there was a Bastille Day celebration in progress.Without even knowing, the amazing food and fun fete (party) atmosphere was exactly what we needed. When you add in the service, and the French wine, it instantly became a most unexpected celebration. We may as well have been sitting at the Cafe De  Flore in Paris people watching.  

We lounged and lingered, enjoying and soaking up the  smells and company and love that this most surprising afternoon had to offer us.        

What a excellent reminder for me to be spontaneous and stay open to let the day unfold. Remember always that we are all connected and the Universe may have something special in store for you. More than you could do for yourself.
